Looking up the details of a MG I'm interested in and the DVLA have it down as "First Used" in October 2006, and "First Registered" in July 2015. It was supposedly built in 2006. I don't have the VIN and can't ask the seller as they are closed until the New Year.
I assume it was registered with a private plate until July 2015 when it was then registered with the current plate.
