TF VVC running rich.

Hi Chaps. Brain picking time.
I've just slotted a VVC engine and EUC etc into my TF, the engine was out of my old F.
I'm sure it's running rich, it ran rich in the F but now I want to do something about it.
It has new coolant sensors (both of them), new plugs, new Magnacor HT leads and a new Lambda sensor, and the head had been totally rebuilt.
It just sounds and smells a bit rich with a bit of soft popping on the over run, not over-run banging.
It also has a slight flat spot when you floor it although that could be the fuel pressure regulator but I don't think it would cause the rich running.

I was thinking of injectors if so would it be worth dumping some injector cleaner in, any ideas?
