Buy a Streetwise as a daily drive?

Good morning
From May this year, the lease on our daily drive will be up, and I'm thinking of getting a Rover for a couple of years to fill that job.
From 2020, there are going to be restrictions for cars going into Barcelona: no diesels registered before 2006 and no petrol cars before year 2000.
It's a mad rule because massive Range Rovers and BMWs for example will be ok to drive but a small rover 25 diesel from 2005 won't, etc...
We don't go by car much into Barcelona (I use a large scooter), but we'd need that option.
It's a pity because I wouldn't mind getting a Rover 75 but I don't think I'd find a 2006 registered one.

So, I'm left with Rover petrol cars really. A Streetwise wouldn't be a bad option.

May 2005. 71000kms. One careful lady owner who says she's handicapped. Looks new!
The one in the ad is 3500 euros which seems steep. But it's about 800 miles away on the south coast of Spain. A bit of a stumbling block.
but I'll be on the look out for ones that come up closer to home.

How reliable are the 1.4 L and other petrols?
