Concept Rovers
So as we all know the Rover marque is owned by Tata, and the chances of it returning are extremely small, however I was bored the other day and decided to make some new Rover's using old Jaguars, as I believe that is something like Tata would do if they brought back Rover just use facelifted older models to get sales up.
This is the Rover 25 it is based on one of Tata's city car models the Tiago, it would be priced to compete against the likes of the KA, I haven't done much to this car considering its not that bad looking by itself, although I have changed the fonts used for the rover branding to try and modernise it a bit.
This is the Rover 45 it is based off of the Jaguar X-type, this one was a struggle to redesign considering the design of this car is nearly 10 years old! although I think I pulled it off, it includes the lights off of a 75/ZT that have been stretched and the Rover logo off of an old grill, along with this the back includes the handle from a 75 with Rover on it and the lights from a facelift S-type, the interior is much the same with some upgraded technology, notably the SAT-NAV
This is the concept I am most proud of, the 75 I used the Jaguar XF Mk1 for this model and completely changed the front, I wanted to make this one look the most individual to try and set it apart from the two cheaper models, the front includes stretched 75/ZT headlights along with the Mk2 premium grill, the back had lights from the Jag XE and the same boot strip as the 45, the interior stays the same with a new SAT-NAV
Thanks for reading, I hope you like the models, please remember this is just for fun so don't go off in the comments about how Rover wont return, I accepted that long ago
