Just when you think its all over :-
Car opened up fine and started brilliantly heater on driving down the road........ a bit of mist on the windows so turned the heater up to number three :-dash went off radio went off and the passenger side washer started washing the window, mmmmm turned it to four and the washer got stronger mmmm very odd turned heater off. everything came back on. Turned side lights on all ok, turned headlights on and dash went off radio went off and both washers washed the screen. if you try using the wipers they go very slowly. With the engine off and the ingnition still on it still has the faults

If I press the up button for the front window the washer motor runs if I press both buttons it runs quicker, but instruments go off..........

If you take the fuse out of the board for the washers they will still run from the faults mentioned but not from the proper stalk mounted switch

So as long as I dont go out in the dark and dont mind freezing then everything is great.
