Brake Bias valve question...

Theres been some interesting discussion recently on the brake bias valve (which I didnt even know existed till two weeks ago...).

I've had various brake issues over the years, most of which are well documented elsewhere. The key item for me is that my front and rears read the same braking force value when up on the rollers...around 210kgf. Looking at the bias valve threads, the fronts should be around 320kgf, so around 60% of your braking force is at the front (I have AP Callipers)

My force seems to be split 50/50, which could explain why I have gone through new pads and discs on the rear so quickly....

Could the bias valve be at fault? blocked or jammed in some way?

She is at a garage at the moment having new gear cables fitted after last fridays adventure, I might ask them to have a look. Though I just went to see her, and they seem to have disconnected the coolant pipes to fir the gear cables so I hope they know what they are doing..

cheers
