Engine Management Light but cars running fine???

Hi all,



Hopefully someone can advise on this or has experienced similar issues enough to point me in the right direction.



Anyway I hardly use my car and it was fine this morning when I drove it, then I went to drive home and suddenly the engine management light came on and won't go off.



I've checked all I can think of but don't have a reader to get a code ;-(



Only thing that's happened that hasn't before until today is a blow in an exhaust join that's also happened from centre pipe to back box.



Anyway the car drives like always, fine, smooth, revs fine etc.



Any ideas anyone?
