Anyone like to make a bet?

Having finally sold the family Ford, I can afford to buy a new key fob for my ZR160 Mk 2.



I'm in Adelaide, South Australia. Fortunately, I've found the dealer here from when MG-Rover were still alive and they still have the software and parts sources to do the job. They're also the only mob in Adelaide who can do the job and with not all key fobs being created alike (quality, frequency, company stupidity), the smart move is to go to this dealer and ask them to source a new fob, then program it.



So I've put in the request.



Labour costs here are in the order of $AU100 an hour.

I've spoken to a few MGF owners here and they talk of hundreds of dollars (too many hundreds for my liking).



Anyone like to make a bet on what it's going to cost me?
