supension

so tonight i took the 3 top nuts of at the front and then the pinch bolt at the bottom along with the brake line but the brake discs wudnt drop low enough to get the strut out of the bottom holdings any ideas? i was thinking using spring compresser to try make the shock smaller to life above the bottom holdings
