Fuel Lego

The Lego is here for the fuel set up..

With my new found responsibilities I should point out:

There is nothing wrong with the standard MG set up

But my set up is NOT standard..

I want to run 4 bar at the rail

Im also running twin pumps and twin filters..

So.. The Stock (new) MG filter will be moved to a new location.. and will filter fuel before its fed to the 1 Litre swirl pot

After fuel comes out of the swirl pot.. it is supplied to the Bosch 044 pump via the 30 micron filter (to protect pump) and then onto the rail

The fuel returns from the far end of the rail via an after market pressure regulator (adjutable)

This means every pipe in the engine bay that carries fuel will now be teflon lined braided hoses.. and AN fittings.. no quick release rubber hoses..

Seemed pointless trying to keep any of the MG stuff when so much of it has been moved and stuff added

To and from the swirl pot will be AN8 hose.. to and from fuel rail will be AN6

Its cost me a small fortune.. and yes I could of run the Titans on the stock set up.. But to get the most out of this engine it needs a higher fuel pressure.. and at 8,100 rpm the stock set up could be struggling

Ive spoken to 3 people who have 200 + bhp K series and all three are running swirl pots and Bosch 044's.. so why not copy..

Now all I gotta do is make room for them to go in.. :) and route the pipe work to make it all look tidy

I'll be using the same brackets I used for the AN8 oil lines to the Laminova
