Location for a vacuum to plug into.
Just completed the fuel injector and thermostat housing swap. All went great. Car, at last, runs on 6 cylinders. Runs beautifully.
But I've ended up with one end of a vacuum pipe free, and i can't see where it plugs into!
It's the only plastic pipe that has a WHITE quick release mechanism (all the others have red or black). Off the white mechanism is a short length of pipe that ends in a T piece. From this T piece, there is a pipe that plugs into the front bank cam cover (next to the oil filler cap), the other side of the T piece, the pipe goes to just behind the throttle body (in the black tracts of the beginning of the upper inlet) BUT the underside of the white connector has a length of pipe that i can't see where it joins to.?????
It runs past the throttle cam, next to the throttle cable nipple, but where to? I just can't see a hole for it plug into!!
Check your V6 for me chaps. You may need to unbolt the acoustic cover.
Thanks.
