Replacing Sill panels

I posted in another thread about replacing corroding sill panels on my wifes 416.



Another member '1234dist' kindly pointed me at a panel supplier he uses.



They said they had sill panels listed for the vehicle (they checked this using the registration number I gave them) but unfortunately could not send me any illustrations of the parts so I could -

a) confirm they were the correct parts

b) see how they would be fitted (ie from the panel shape)



They would also not tell me who the part manufacturer was (they said they didn't have that information in the shop) for me to try and get drawings from them.



Here are a couple of photos of the drivers side with the sill cover removed.

In them you can see the previous 'temporary' job done by a local bodyshop. This was done 18 months (2 winters) ago but now we are looking to keep the car for a while and want to get the job done right.





















1234dist gave me liks to his blog where he shows the work he did on a 400, but unfortunately I cannot figure from the image in the blog just how the new sills he used were attached. (ie what needs cutting out and how to attach the new panels)



Does anyone have any photos of sill replacement or copies of photos/drawings of replacement sills which will give me a better idea of what's involved.
