rover 25 transmission

hi how you doing all ?

i have 2003 rover 25 1.8L tipronic transmission

i had a problem in the gearbox so i installed 1.6 manual transmission for rover 200 si 1999

i want to ask if the new transmission gives the car the usual power or it decreases the power that given ?
