Steel Seal

So I have read the posts about stuff like this on here not recommending it however my HG is on the way out, lots of mayo forming and drinking water regularly. I just need the car for few more months before I buy a new one, sodon't want to fork out on HG replacement and associated other jobs.



What I was wondering is how you actually use it. It says pour into expansion tank but make sure there is room for the sealent to go in, does that mean I need to flush out some coolant so the expansion tank is empty? Do I need to do a complete flush before I add the seal anyway? Then let it run for an hour and cool down and that should be it.



Has anyone used it before? What is the procedure you followed?
