Rover owners: URGENT HEADLIGHT HELP REQUIRED! What the hell do I do now??

I've had a shocker..

I'm putting back in all the standard bulbs on my ZR, and the drivers side sidelight wouldn't come back through the hole for me to replace it. Tried everything, and after a while, *ping*. The sidelight fell out of the holder (which then came through without any problems) and is trapped inside the headlight itself.

Worse than that, it is sitting in a small gap, and if it falls I have no idea if it will be trapped there for eternity.. There is some sort of channel in the gap, could this lead somewhere?? Did MG strategically put it there for when people like me have a special moment!? (I doubt it)
