Views appreciated ref Rover 25 possible purchase.
I have a chance to buy a 2005 Rover 25 at a good price.
It has 60,000 on the clock and I'm told it is in good condition with a new Head Gasket and Timing Belt, and will have a full MOT on purchase.
However the problem is that the central locking does not work and the seller says
"the car has central locking, but it doesn't work. May only need battier is remote!"
Obviously he means 'battery' but I am assuming that its not as simple as that - so my question is -
What is the worst case scenario I could face with a non working central locking on this car, and what is the possible cost of rectifying the worst case scenario.
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks
