A year with out Toad.

Hi all, it’s been a year now with out Toad and I must say I’ve missed the forum. But it’s time to change again. The SLK scene is a bit dull on the forum side that’s for sure.

I have quickly scanned the forum and I see CCJ is still moding and forever improving on what mere mortals would say is perfection. LOL.

Hope all is well with you and the Cars. I’ve found the last year a little boring not one breakdown, not even a mod. It’s not quite the same, so its time to move on again and as the family grows I’ve been given the task of changing to something to accommodate the kids and CARAVAN yep I said it. Well the only way forward was to go on to Auto trader and enter the following fields.

Max mileage 80,000

Tax max £280

Engine 5ltr or more

Well next thing I remember was driving home in a Mercedes E500. Wow that is the seat MOD I should have done. Even has massage settings someone should try that one at least. LOL.

Is the Help the Heroes run on again ?. I’ve been luckily invited to the D-Day landing celebrations starting with the re-take of Pegasus Bridge at Midnight on the 6th of June. Were all to be fully dressed in WW2 Oxs & Bucks uniform raising Cash for Help the Heroes, very much looking forward to that, will try and get back soon.
