Adjusting the Alternator belt

Just put a new alternator on my mgf and came to adjust and there is no 8mm adjuster screw- as in the replacement doesn't have one or the hole for one. It's a Denso Alternator from Best of British Rover online- I double checked the model of my car and everything and they assured me this is the correct alternator. Any suggestions?
