Good AA help
Hi Guys just wanted to share a little story by way of thanks to the AA.
On Saturday my 1.8 Connie decided to drop her auxiliary belt and power steering belt. Basically somehow the auxiliary belt shredded and in doing so somehow the smaller power steering belt popped off too. I think it must have snagged and caught on the outer small power steering belt. All i felt was a small jolt and the battery charge light came on and power steering became heavy.
I rang the AA and it was late Saturday night. They got me home and returned on Sunday morning to take me 10 miles to the nearest motor factors to get new belts and took me home....fitted the belts and job done.
A really good job done by the AA.
Other breakdown organisations are available and indeed in the past the RAC did similar on a VW Passat I had.
Anyway thanks to Chris and Dave from the Bridgend AA area for a great job.
Incidentally it appears the auxiliary belt was faulty and had given up which is most unusual.
