help finding that iveco turbo..

hi chaps, needing more power (on the cheap! - i know thats not a good combination!)

but, as there is no direct bolt on turbo replacement, thought id try one that is reported to being the one that requires the liest effort.



according to a few threads on here, the gt1752 from an iveco 2.8 may well be the one for me. (Presumably the 2.8 is the capacity of the diesel engine? If so, any idea what model iveco this is from? Turbo daily?)

Thing is, im getting a bit confused, if i look up a gt 1752, i get this:

A saab turbo for a petrol engine.



Is this the same turbo, or is there more than one model with the same name?



just need a little help identifying the correct one..

(Ideally im after a second hand one for under £100, as my rover only cost me 300 in the first place! This is just an experiment for me.)



Im not after massive power as my clutch wont take it (infact, it probably wont take the above power hike, but i will see, + i loose about 10% power running on veg oil anyway)



Also, just incase anyone asks, im running the usual mods, 19psi boost, blanked egr, boost guage, rover ron tu1 tuning box (turned to the max! - plenty of smoke to play with for a bigger turbo!), cat soon to be gutted, exhaust to be increased to 2.5" from restriction forward, and will experiment removing back box too.
