mgzr rear seat folding mechanism removal

Hi All,

My ZR folding rear seat mechanisms are a bit mashed up. The plastics on the back of the seat are a bit of a mess and the cables have detatched. I can operate the rear seat to fold them with a pair of pliers pulling on the cable bt i really need to just replace them.

There is a car down the breakers with some good mechanisms but i cant see how to remove the plastic handle/ surround.



Anyone any top tips on removing these without busting them?
