electrics issues

I having some problems with my zr and its getting more frequent, sometimes the entire car would loose battery power and its not until I wiggle the negative on the battery it powers up, I also had a problem when I turned my high beam on all the electrics would go off except for the high beam, can anyone shed any light?!
