Hot, pinging but happy.

Maggie has made it for me!



First a 280 mile drive from Hull to Portsmouth via Wiltshire to see friends. An overnight stop with them then on to Porstmouth ferry terminal, overnight ferry to Bilbao in Spain and the big drive.



560 miles, yep 560 MILES, not kilometres, down through the middle of Spain, Bilbao, Burgos, Madrid, Albacete and finally Murcia in 8hours 40 minutes- all in one hop! Only stopped once for fuel and two for comfort stops. The car ran like a peach no hiccups at all. Water temp never even attempted to get close to halfway up the gauge, oil temp stuck on 120 or below for the full journey.



Only thing knackered is me! our cars are definately not built for comfort on such a long trip, but now its here she is going to be used on plenty of shorter wingdings and day outs for the missus and me.
