Oulton Park Anyone?

We went to the Aston Martin Classic Race Day on Saturday

What a great day!

We parked up near the track and made use of the seats in the stand (never quite know why the stand is called such when it has seats?)



Then watched a couple of races...











Before heading off to the cafe to grab a bite to eat and a cuppa ;)



Then it was time for a stroll around the paddocks...







































Once refreshed, it was time for the 'big boys' to play...











As you can see, the weather behaved and held for quite a while and wasn't the washout it was reported to be after all :)



When the rains came and the action hotted up...the track got a tad slippery when wet...But we couldn't help feeling sorry for this guy....







Still, it's all in a day's racing I suppose!
