Part number for thermostat?

I plan to replace my head gasket this weekend and have been reading a few threads about it. One thing that was mentioned was replacing the thermostat.

Anybody able to give me a part number for it or a description as to which thermostat I need, so I can go to the shop with to get a replacement? I think (hope) I have everything else at hand.

Edit Is there any point in changing it as I have never had the car overheat? Having said that the oil temp gauge has never worked so I can't confirm if problems there but water temp is rock solid at all times.
