Poly Bushes - Who wants to borrow ...

Although we seem to talk about colour of bushes as being an indication of hardness, there is no recognised code/standard. For some time I've been curious about the hardness of various makes of poly bush so I got one of these cheapies off the bay. http://ift.tt/1jQ5Vhb

I'm sure its not the best but hoping to at least get some comparative indication.



I fitted some cheap ebay orange ones back in 2008 and have just replaced the rears with the dark blue Mike Satur ones.



So my results, testing several areas on a flat area of the bush end and as far away from an unsupported edge as possible are :-



The orange (2008) ebay ones average 79 Shore A

The darker blue (2014) MS bushes average 85 Shore A




If any trusted regular poster on here who has some bushes out of the car wants to borrow the meter and report back their hardness for the general info of all on here, I would be pleased to post the meter out on loan. You pay the return postage.
