TF Gear Cable - Retaining Clip?
Hi all, after a 50mph stretch coming home from work, top down of course, I pulled up to the lights and put it into neutral. When trying to engage first the lever seemed not to engage a gear and went quite far forward. I tried a couple of gears and could only get 4th. Now as much as I love my clutch, I had to get the car home the rest of the 4/5miles or so, so I suffered on, and got it back.
Looking under the car and chatting with the MG-Mobile Mechanics, it seems that I have lost my retaining clip - can anyone confirm this and tell me how best to go about getting my mitts on one post-haste (anyone in the Bolton/Manchester area have a spare tonight???).
I really need the car back on the road, is it a specialised clip for the F/TF or can I pick one up anywhere?
Any advice please!

I have also taken a pic of the gear housing that both connectors seem to be fine!?
