Think I've finally found my clunk :)

I have a clunk coming from the near side, had it for over 2 years or so.... It's slowly driving me mad.

I've recently changed all the ball joints, upper and lower and the TRE's. I checked every moving part within the doors and even upgraded the door hinge bushes.

I've pry bar'd every suspension part I can find and found nothing unto-worn.

So I've finally bitten the bullet and asked a professional :)

Had my tracking done yesterday by a garage I know and trust. I asked if they would drive the car whilst I pointed out the noise, although it is obvious... Within 1 pot hole he said rear trailing arm compliance bush!!!! I said what??? So he said ill show you, drove back and popped it on the ramps.

I've always thought it was in the door, so this makes sense as it's just behind it. Metal hitting metal.

So I've ordered a new bracket and bush. Hopefully this will put an end to my clunk!!!!

Quick question, can the bracket be removed and fitted whilst the arm is in situ or do you have to remove it?
