Wheel nut nightmare

With the good weather I thought I'd get the front arches waxoyled and get rid of the crud that builds up near the sill. Can I get the wheel off - can I hell! These flippin' nut covers are a nightmare and the oem wrench has got signs of wear so it just slips off. Got a 6 point 19mm socket with extension bar that's removed a couple but one cover has come off and it's evident that the bolt has rounded on one side so that ain't budging. Looks like it's off to a garage and hope that they can remove the bolt. How difficult should such a simple job be? :mad:
