zs+ diesel conversion

hi small problem ive just bought a 2006 facelift zs+ which has had a full deisel conversion but the kind soul i got it of aint changed it on log book and im having a nightmare to change it,aparently i need a letter from a garage to confirm the change ? would like some help if anyone can please been a nightmare thankyou
