AC not working. Any known faults?

As per tilte. Any known weak spots in the ZS system?

I've checked the pressure and the system is charged. When I click the AC button on the dash, the light comes on, but there is no additional load on the engine, nor is there any click to indicate a clutch engaging or compressor working. Haven't checked fuses yet (I assume there is a fuse somewhere), not sure where it is. Any pointers as to why the AC is not working? Thanks!
