MG ZR Aircon

Hi all,



I have had my ZR for about 3-3.5yrs now and since buying it never had the aircon gassed, when I bought it it was empty and I was told it worked (but could not test this as there was no gas in the system to test it with).



When I click the button it lights up but the is no change in the rev's etc and no click from the compressor starting up so I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to check the system and see if it works as I would like to gert it gassed.



Any ideas anyone as I am all out of ideas and don't want to spend circa £60-£75 on a re-fill that will then either leak out or be wasted as the systems dead.
