mg zs turbo diesel fuel filter change

hey guys. Iv just been and got a new diesel fuel filter for my td zs and was hoping for some good advice on fitting it. Do i have to release the fuel pressure first and if so how do i do it and whats the easiest way to do it start to finish. I don't have the luxury of going to a garage and cant afford a Haynes. Cheers.
