VVC Water Pump Question..

I have searched the site for a simple answer but only come across topics in regards to changing a water pump.



Okay, My 160 VVC has developed a leak belt side, and is so bad that when I stopped to put petrol the water dripping instantly ran off the forecourt. I checked for signs of head gasket failure and all seems well. I had a 1.4 few months back and bought a water pump for it but never got round putting it on before I sold the car. Now, would they be the same on the VVC or not?
