would you recommend a headgasket change before it goes?

Hi everyone. I have a Mg Zr i purchased recently. The miles are so low it was a bargain. Its a 160 1.8 and its currently on 30500 miles. Feels brand new. But im doing a level 1 mechanics course and have weeks spare as we have finished and was wondering is it worth changing the headgasket already to the uprated one? Or should i just wait and see? It hasnt gone and never loses any coolant but wanted to get opinions?
