A proper exhaust system

I've been doing a bit of work on my wife's car the last couple of weekends, finishing off the mods we started 2 years ago before we left for Germany.

The approach we've taken is to go for a good improvement all round without breaking the bank. So we've gone for mods that give 80-90% of the potential gains (in most cases) for more like 40-50% of the cost.

The car is a non-VVC Abingdon with a modified head with 29.5 in/26 ex valves, 285H cams, VVC inlet manifold (port matched etc), 52mm t/b and a TF big airbox with a proper cold feed. This is all running through an Emerald. I've now basically finished the exhaust system as well, as per images.

It is basically a standard 4 bolt downpipe with deburred welds, but from there it is substantially different. I've extended the secondaries by around 300mm (so about double the length of the standard system) and gone up a size. The bends are also better as they're mandrel bent and the collector is much improved over standard. The rest of the system is also up a size (2¼") and has two very good silencers (from a flow perspective). There is only one functioning tailpipe (although there will be a dummy tailpipe for looks - my wife may be a lead foot but she is still a woman). Note that, while this system has been built to improve performance, it is not necessarily the best exhaust system I could have built for the K series, however given the space nd budget constraints, particularly for a road car, it is a pretty good compromise.

So without further ado, here it is. I still need to weld on the intermediate support and O2 sensor bung, and get some finishers. But it runs as it is and doesn't leak.

It also sounds alright (please excuse phone camera);
