My new ZS
Though i would post some pictures of my new car. i had one back in 2007, but didnt keep it long a i wanted another Maestro turbo. I have had quite a few other cars since (220coupe, 216gsi, 800 vitesse, 414is, 623gsi. But after the 623gsi i wanted something fun again. I did think of another 800 vitesse but they always seem to break, so i got this
MG ZS 180, in trophy blue. Brought it off ebay last week. 79000 miles, no rust and with a £700 recipt for a timing belt service carried out at 72000 in march 2013.
i am even more happy that the first owner wasnt shy of the options list.
It has
Reverse parking aid
Rear seat head rests
Rear electric windows
Trophy blue dash and door inserts
Blue detailed steering wheel
Kenwood 6000 series head unit
The optional CD changer, which was fitted, is missing from the boot though :( Just the bracket and wiring remain

Needs a bit of tiding up really, clutch is a little heavy, though lots of life in it yet. I have serviced it this week, with new engine oil and filter and gearbox oil change with OE MTF 94. Have ordered OE plugs, fuel, air and pollen filters.
Have also under sealed it and fitted a set of 4 Avon zz5 tyres (205/45 ZR17 88W)
Things to do list
fit second hand offside wing supplied with car as orignal is dented badly
New front pads and discs
Sort heater resistor (only works 3 and 4 speeds)
regas air con, just at the time when the machine at work has broken:cus:
Sort out the mess of a rear parcel shelf after someone has tryed to cfut holes in it. dont know what they were up to. i will post some pictures when i get around to doing it.
And inlet manifold rattles, a second hand one was again supplied when i brought the car, but i will have to look up on forums how to see if it is any good. When i was working on these KV6 engines in dealer, we would just fit a new item, normally under warranty, so have never had one apart
And get the wheels defurb'ed. They are very bad
Anyway hope you like it.
