gearbox problems

can anyone tell me if the are any known problems with the gearbox,s on the petrol 25 and zr,s



both manual and auto



i have a rover 45 diesel with the pg1 gearbox and its fine



but my sister and my friend have both had rover 25 petrols and but had gearbox problems, i was looking at geting a 25 but i want to know the problems befor i do
