oil ok to use??

gd afternoon all,

just a quick question plz,i have just changed oil & filter with 15/40 castrol gtx

4lts & all 4 ltrs were used in the change,my question is i have a 1 ltr carton of

gtx but its 10/40 will that be ok to use if any top up is required in the future??
