Just joined this group as I have a rover 45 and a defender 300 TDI.



My background is an automotive powertrain development engineer and I specialised in electrical / electronic systems. Had a rover 400 diesel for 175,000 trouble free miles but the old girls body is passed it and so brought a rover 45 diesel. Not so happy with it because it no longer uses the VE pump and has no throttle cable !
