High mpg?

Sorry another mpg thread (groan), just did a fill up yesterday and it worked out to 9.3L/100km, which I thought seemed a bit high, even though around 85% of the driving was around town, and some were fairly short trips (5km etc).



Or is that to be expected for that sort of driving? (Also, it is the middle of winter down here).



Also she seems to be having a wee bit of trouble starting when it's cold, but I'm using the old trick of running the glow plugs 3 times and then she starts no trouble.



Perhaps a injector timing issue?
