how to keep washer in place fitting SDi injectors
Hi
I've finally got round to getting hold of some SDi injectors and hopefully attempting to fit them tomorrow all being well on the weather front!!
Just a few questions which I couldn't find on the forum already, I've got no grease, what's best alternative to keep washer in place, Vaseline?
Also just got two packs of the fuel leak off pipe from halfords, is this enough length to replace all of them between injectors, it's the three pipes in the blister pack.
Lastly, no slide hammer... Is it easy enough with pliers, or is it not advisable?
These injectors are going in a mk2 115, I'm presuming from what I've read it's going to be smokey as hell lot car has a re-map already, before I got the car so not got details. Also have open cone, de-cat and mafam/pierghburg (not yet fitted) and will be turning up boost after fitting injectors
Any pointers/warnings would be appreciated
Thanks
Quinn
