I was thinking
I have just been hooning my 6 about before on the bypass by me. I was going fairly quick on the roundabouts (but not dangerously quick) and I was seeing how tight a line I could get by lifting off the throttle. Its hysterical, going onto a roundabout with a trailing throttle and you get a lovely bit of lift off oversteer which the ESP allows to an extent & it bits in harder and you can go round quicker. It is such a hoot & always feels safe, you get so much feedback in these cars.
I was thinking after that the MG6 is very much like the MK1 Focus. The reason I say this is because we have got to a stage where cars are becoming more numb & boring to drive, just like the Escorts, Rover 400s & Astras were like in the 90s, then out of nowhere comes a car that is actually fun to drive. I've driven allot of the 6s rivals and none come close to chassis dynamics excluding hot models. It's in a class of its own like the MK1 Focus was all those years ago. Im hoping MG don't water the next gen chassis down like Ford have done with the MK2 & MK3 Focus which are nowhere near as good as the MK1.
