knackered flexi.

Would a knackered flexi effect my performance on my td? I've noticed that sometimes my boost stays around 17-18 psi in 4th and 5th especially when I'm flooring it, but it's fine in 1st and 2nd and 3rd.



There seems to be quite a thick black cloud of smoke too, which I've always thought was a boost leak, but the problem isn't so bad in the first 3 gears..



Ideas? MAFLess, SDI's, 2.5inch exhaust, decat etc.
