MAF to Airbox?

MG ZS TD.



I'm sure I'm going to run into lots of fiddly problems with this car till I know what has been done right or wrong.



When putting the Airbox back on I noticed the clips to hold/pull the MAF were quite lose, have not got a clue if the Maf was a little loose to start with and I know previous owner replaced it along with a plug in. Not quite sure who has done what or if something is missing.



Is there supposed to be a rubber or some kind of spacer between the Airbox and MAF?
