Mot overdue on my zr..... I have a question for you

The car is currently "sorned" no insurance, no tax, no mot. I only need replace a front tyre now and then it's ready to go in for its fresh ticket



Am I automatically covered to take/drive the car to and from mot test centre?

I only ask as I can't afford to buy the tyre and insurance and the cost of mot at same time.
