Re-build exploded wing mirror

The F has been parked up in the garage for last few months, I've just went out to find the passenger mirror & housing hanging on the door!



Unless I have a ghost (possible) my belief is that tension on the internal spring has made the housing come apart, I've left the mirrors in the in-position so it makes sense that they've sprung.



Can anyone tell me is there a guide on here to putting it back together on here or a disassembly guide (a la Haynes - "reassemble is reverse of the above" that I can read. I have the housing with body coloured cover, a huge spring, glass with cradle. Just not sure how to proceed...
