New Rover convert...
After 60 years of motoring I bought my first Rover, a 25 Spirit 12 months ago on the recommendation of my local motor mechanic. Although the price was very reasonable it had a number of niggling little faults so last week I bit the bullet and traded it in against for another 52 plate Spirit S which he had loaned me as a courtesy car and so far it appears to have been a good move.
Although I am reasonably competent with fixing pre-1980s vehicles at home (even one pre 1940s), advancing years and other demands on my waking hours have kept me away from fixing my own car for the past 30+ years and I have lost touch with a lot of the new technology. I am looking forward to learning from those with fewer years on the clock.
