Sensitive little TPS
Evening,
My 1999 1.8MGF has a highish idle and the revs occasionally stick when taking my foot off the pedal. I've tried resetting, cleaning the throttle body, cable and IACV to no avail but I noticed that pressing on the body of the TPS causes the revs to jump - I've just read through the workshop manual and it says that you should take care when mounting the TPS (seat it fully by pressing on the back of the sensor, don't use the screws to draw it up) so it looks like the body is quite sensitive and mine might be damaged. So, I've ordered a new sensor but does anyone have the torque values for the two mounting screws?
Cheers
Andy
