ZR 160 HGF symptoms after 150000km

Well looks like after 150000km of trouble free driving and hammering my 2005 MG ZR 160 in the hot Southern African climate I have came across oil in my coolant . Just to make sure I've flushed the system and filled with new OAT coolant , bleed it properly and there is still some oil floating after doing 100km up and down . First saw my coolant dropping a bit and then one morning for the first time ever I saw my coolant light stay on , on start-up . So filled it to max and drove my 39km to work. At work I waited for till lunch for system to cool down and went to look at the coolant level, to my surprise I found a brown slime sludge ridge on the coolant line . I also have no heat on my heater but this is an old issue I have with my Saab valve messing around as at 3500rpm above its heating the inside of the car up nicely .....



Now Im thinking with the issue here in South Africa to get parts and wannabee MG mechanics I might just tackle this one myself with the expertise and assistance of my fellow MG forum members of course :)
